Valaris awarded three-year contract with Chevron

Bermudian-based Valaris Ltd, the offshore drilling services outfit, has been awarded a three-year contract with Chevron in the US Gulf of Mexico.
The company said the contract is for drillship Valaris DS-18 (Relentless).
Valaris said the contract is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2022 in direct continuation of the current contract.
The company operates a diverse rig fleet of 11 ultra-deepwater drillships, five semi-submersibles and 44 shallow-water jack-ups across six continents.
