Drivers are being warned that certain streets in Hamilton will be closed on Friday afternoon to accommodate a march on Parliament.
Traffic will not be allowed on Washington Street, Victoria Street, Wesley Street, Church Street and Court Street while the procession takes place.
Marchers representing the unions and the People’s Campaign will set off from Victoria Park at 12pm. They will head for the Cabinet Building to urge Government to shut a loophole that allows PRC holders to apply for Status.
Police officers will be monitoring the procession and will assist with traffic flow but road users are warned to expect delays and take alternate routes. Diversions will be put in place.
