Businessman Mr. Alan Marshall has been granted Planning permission to convert a photo laboratory on North Shore Road in Pembroke into a water processing and bottling plant.

He plans to bottle Bermuda water -- fetched from a well on the property -- and sell it at local stores.

Development Applications Board chairman Mr. Neville Conyers said he believed the water in the well was brackish, but Mr. Marshall plans to purify it with reverse osmosis.
