Too many signs

Dear Sir,
Thanks SMH for the letter on June 12 to the Editor headed, “Nauseating Signs”.
As the public was informed there was going to be a major initiative to stop the proliferation of signs everywhere, why is it that there were at least 12 signs on the Crow Lane entrance to Hamilton a few days ago?
Some of these signs were from Government agencies.
Signs everywhere pollute the Island. Even at the Church Bay lay-by, which is on National Parks land, there is an orange flapping flag sign. Adding to this indignity is the spelling of “Snow Kones”.
We can surely do better for our beautiful Island and it will not even cost anything. Come on Bermuda.
