Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. has announced that Patricia Calderon and Katherine Autera have joined Endurance Risk Solutions' excess casualty team.

The team is led by Doreen Miller.

Ms Calderon has been appointed vice-president and excess casualty regional manager - US, and Ms Autera, vice-president and excess casualty regional manager - Northeast.

Ms Calderon has more than 12 years of experience underwriting excess casualty liability for a range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, real estate, financial institutions, transportation and construction. Prior to joining Endurance, she spent eight years with Zurich North America, most recently as regional vice-president of excess casualty, responsible for a large book of business including many more complicated accounts. Before that, she held underwriting positions with AIG Global Energy and American Home Assurance Co.

Ms Autera has more than 25 years of underwriting and broad insurance brokerage experience. Prior to moving to Endurance, she was an excess casualty team leader and underwriter with Zurich North America, where she serviced a variety of industry segments. Previously Ms Autera spent 19 years with Willis of New York, most recently as senior vice-president and middle market casualty marketing practice leader.
