Man critical after road crossing accident

A man is in a critical condition after being involved in a road accident earlier today.
Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision that took place at 12:16am on Middle Road in Warwick outside the Warwick Lanes Bowling Alley.
At the scene it appeared that a motorcycle travelling west had collided with a pedestrian crossing a walkway.
The motorcycle rider and the pedestrian were both taken to hospital with head and leg injuries.
A 25-year-old man is currently listed in a critical condition in the intensive care unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, while the other man involved in the accident, a 27-year-old is on a general ward.
