A Pembroke woman today denied assaulting police officers and escaping from lawful custody in an incident at LF Wade International Airport.
Shellicia McKenzie-Simons, 25, of Mount Hill Mews, obstructed and refused to comply with customs officers when she arrived at the airport on May 9, prosecutor Carrington Mahoney told Magistrates’ Court.
It’s alleged she assaulted two police officers.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Ms McKenzie-Simons on $2,000 bail, and set trial for August 21.
