Arrival of the Norwegian Sorlandet

The Norwegian tall ship Sorlandet, the oldest full rigged ship in the world still in operation, arrived in Bermuda this week. Currently hosting the Class Afloat international school programme, on Friday students from the ship will present a lunch hour benefit reading at City Hall to raise awareness and funds to mark V Day, a global movement to end violence against women and girls. The students have partnered with the local charity, The Centre Against Abuse. (Photos by Akil Simmons)
