Service to others
Service. This past week celebrated 90 years of Rotary in Bermuda. A lot of the focus was on one Bermudian who truly put “service above self” and helped make a major difference in our world through the Rotary Polio Plus programme. The objective of this initiative was to rid the world of polio.
Significantly this objective has been met due in no small part to the work of this man and many other dedicated volunteers in our world. Each of can make the world a better place by giving of our time, talent, and treasure to assist the organisation of our choice to help those in need and to remove unnecessary suffering from our world.
What do you do to give of yourself so that our community and our world is a better place?
Take the first step this week and help your neighbours make this difference!
