The Bermuda Stock Exchange ended the week up 3.3 percent or 41.62 points.

The biggest mover over the week was Bank of Butterfield, with 129,611 shares moving, closing at $1.65, 5.8 percent up on the previous week.

Shares in Somers Limited also traded strongly, with more than 24,000 changing hands. The shares finished the week at $12.

A total of 285 Bank of Butterfield preference shares also traded, closing one percent up at $1,199.90.
