Ascendant Group Ltd was the biggest climber on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today, gaining 2.4 percent.

The owner of electricity company Belco saw its share price rise by 24 cents to close on $10.25 on the trading of 1,800 shares.

Watlington Waterworks also rose, gaining 1.6 percent to close on $16.25, as 3,600 shares changed hands.

Insurer BF&M inched one cent higher to $17.01 as 10,000 shares traded.

The only stock to fall was telecommunications heavyweight KeyTech Ltd, which dipped 15 cents, or 2.5 percent, to close on $5.80.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 0.52 of a point to close the day on 1,201.05. Volume was 19,124 shares and turnover topped $275,000.
