Father and son face cannabis charges

A father and son have been accused of growing 14 cannabis plants and possessing more than 200g of the controlled drug.

Granville and Emmanuel Outerbridge, of Warwick, both denied the charges in Magistrates’ Court.

Granville Outerbridge, 54, denied possessing the cannabis with intent to supply on August 28, and possessing a digital scale for use in weighing a controlled drug.

Emmanuel Outerbridge, 32, denied cultivating the 14 cannabis plants. Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the men on $25,000 each, and one surety each.

They will appear for trial on March 12.
