It also works dramatically better on mobile devices than the previous version did so please have a play around and let me know what you think.It’s all part of my mission to make NTDIB the best resource for finding out what’s going on in Bermuda.* Cafe 4 in Washington Mall has introduced Bermuda Nights, an opportunity to hear live entertainment by local musicians on Friday nights. Teams of four will be put to the test at Bermuda’s only obstacle challenge, raising money for charity at the same time. The route starts at Warwick Camp and includes Warwick Long Bay Playground, Warwick Long Bay, Horseshoe Bay and the Bermuda Regiment’s assault course. Reserve a table for $25 by e-mailing mamasocial@mama.bm.* As part of its mission to keep drama alive, TROIKA Bermuda will perform Get into the Groove on Saturday, March 16 at the Berkeley Institute. This event is billed as Bermuda’s ultimate dance workshop marathon. Organisers promise to bring dancers together with professional choreographers in a fun, challenging, non-competitive environment that fosters self-fulfillment and development. The event will feature intense master classes from top choreographers Sean Bankhead from Atlanta, Neeks Money from Toronto, and Eric Bean and Kioshi from Bermuda. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for students and seniors and $50 for patrons. A blind tasting competition with part proceeds benefiting Action on Alzheimer’s & Dementia, who provide services such as training and monthly support group meetings for caregivers. Food stalls with traditional Scottish fare and Bermuda eats will be on the grounds. Special guests include the Pipes & Drums of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police H Division (Nova Scotia) & Dancers, the Schiehallion Dancers from Ontario and the MacKenzie Dancers from Nova Scotia. The field will open at 2.30pm and admission is $5 per person or free for under-12s.
