Ascendant slips 2.4%

Ascendant Group led The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange Index lower today.
The share price of the parent company of electricity provider Belco fell 25 cents, or 2.4 percent, to close on $10.25, as 3,200 shares traded.
Insurer BF&M Ltd also slipped by five cents, or 0.3 percent, to close on $17.50 as 300 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank, unchanged on $1.40 was the most heavily traded stock with 32,702 shares having been exchanged.
The Index fell 2.51 points, or 0.22 percent, to close the day on 1,154.72.
Volume was 37,702 and turnover was $90,984.80.
