Legislation allowing liquor sales on Sundays has been tabled in the House of Assembly.

Amendments to the 1974 Act, once approved, will permit liquor sales from 8am to 9pm.

The law applies to grocery and liquor stores. Christmas Day and Good Friday will remain on the schedule as dry days.
