Swan’s Running Club’s annual Turkey Trot 10K road race and walk takes place on Sunday on North Shore Road.

Competitors will start at the UCG Building, near the Sea View Gym and head east along North Shore Road to a turnaround point at Terceira’s Gas Station, then they will head back along North Shore Road as far as Ingham Vale, near the PCC club, before turning around again and returning to the finish line outside the UCG Building.

Prizes will be awarded to the men’s and women’s overall winners and to the top three men and women in each age category. There are also prizes for the first three walkers to finish and for the best fancy dress. The road race starts at 9am and walkers will set off at 8.30am.

Entries can be made at Sportseller, in Washington Mall, and online at www.racedayworld.com. Registration closes at 5pm today.

Number pick-up and a lone chance for late entries will be at the UCG Building tomorrow between 10am and noon.
