“Team Saltus” won the BF&M “School Spirit Award” for raising the most money in connection with the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre’s annual Breast Cancer Fun Walk on October 16th (approximately six staff and 50 Secondary students were on the team).

BF&M presented a cheque for $2,000 to Secondary Examinations Officer and Saltus team organizer, Mr Alexander White. As was done with the “School Spirit Award” which “Team Saltus” won last year, Saltus has donated the award back to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre in support of its mission.

Funds are still being counted from last Friday’s whole school grub day for the victims of typhoon in the Philippines, but so far Saltus students, staff and parents have generously donated nearly $10,000 for the International Red Cross relief effort.
