House to meet again on Wednesday

Following a gruelling session of Parliament on Friday, MPs are scheduled for another busy meeting of the House this Wednesday.Matters up for discussion include delayed legislation for a fuel tax at the East End to pay for St George’s to be maintained as a World Heritage site.The Municipalities Amendment Act, giving Government greater power over decisions by the Corporations of Hamilton and of St George’s, is also slated to go ahead.Much-anticipated legislation allowing cruise ship passengers to gamble aboard ships moored in Bermuda will proceed — plus amendments to Customs tariffs, according to Deputy Premier Michael Dunkley.
