Wells injured in City win

Nahki Wells was forced off with an ankle injury early in the first half of Bradford’s 2-1 home win over Shrewsbury.The Bradford Telegraph and Argus reported that Wells — Bradford’s leading scorer — was “hobbling” and went off to a standing ovation from the 14,000 strong crowd.Bradford striker James Hanson struck in the third minute of stoppage time to earn his side a dramatic win.The big striker fired low into the corner to send the ground into raptures.City had trailed at the break but Kyel Reid levelled with before Hanson sealed the thrilling fightback.
