Bermuda is again being asked to “make some noise” at 5pm today in tribute to Bermuda’s essential workers.
The event is the second organised by the Fairmont Southampton, spread on social media.
A spokesman for the hotel said the initiative was intended to show the public’s gratitude to those on the front line during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said: “Last week was a great start and a warm up for this week.
“I heard it to my house from Kilderry Estate in Smith’s, and I think most people heard it.
“It’s great to see people coming out to show their support.”
Those interested in participating are asked to clap, honk their horns or turn up their music for five minutes from 5pm.
The initiative mirrors those held weekly in New York and the UK.
