A draft policy requiring Government MPs to undergo random drug tests is to be shared with Opposition and Independent members of the Upper and Lower Houses.Public Safety Minister Michael Dunkley said it would also be put up on the One Bermuda Alliance’s website. All MPs can take part in the testing, Mr Dunkley said — calling it “another means of strengthening our democratic institutions and ensuring that Members lead by example”.Policy for the tests, promised in February’s Throne Speech, was drafted with the Department for National Drug Control. It has not been tabled in parliament, and has not been circulated outside Government members of the legislature.
