The Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas returned to Bermuda this week following a major fire in May.The Grandeur arrived in port in Bermuda on Sunday for the first time since the fire and departed for Baltimore on Tuesday. The ship was originally scheduled to make 15 visits to the Island this year, but missed three scheduled trips to Bermuda due to the extensive damage caused by the blaze. The Grandeur was travelling from Baltimore, Maryland to the Bahamas in the early hours of May 27 when a fire broke out.The fire was extinguished in around two hours and there were no injuries, but due to the damage the cruise line was forced to cancel several scheduled trips to Bermuda and other destinations. The ship reportedly spent six weeks undergoing repairs in a Freeport, Bahamas shipyard before returning to Baltimore last week.
