The Department of Environmental Protection has relaunched its website to better service the community.Environment and Planning Minister Sylvan Richards said that while the Department has an important role to play, a survey revealed that customers knew little about the Department.“The new website has been designed to address this problem,” Mr Richards said. “Customers of the Department can now easily find information about each section, guidelines on applying for services offered and application forms for various permits and licences issued by the Department.“Rather than needing to visit the Department to obtain information or to collect application forms, one can now conveniently access this information wherever the internet can be accessed.”He said each section now features a FAQ (frequently asked questions) section to help assist those visiting the site.Useful website: www.dep.gov.bm.
