Ministry of Legal Affairs staff are set to undergo ‘stewards of children’ training later this month.Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs Mark Pettingill announced that a special training session for his Ministry, along with any other interested Ministers and Permanent Secretaries, will take place on July 13.The training sessions, organised by Saving Children and Revealing Secrets (SCARS), are intended to raise awareness about child sexual abuse and its effects on both the victims and their families.Speaking in the House of Assembly on Friday, Mr Pettingill urged members to take part in the three-hour training session.
