Gunfire reported in Warwick last night

Police cordoned off Bulkhead Drive, Warwick tonight after gunshots were heard in the Khyber Pass area. No injuries were reported.

Shots were fired at a home along Bulkhead Drive, Warwick last night, with no one injured.Police said the 7pm incident may be linked to “a pattern of gang activity across the Island”.Police responded to a flurry of calls reporting gunshots, and closed off the end section of the wooded road, which runs east of Khyber Pass.Activity centred on a residence overlooking the Railway Trail.Police Inspector Andy Morgan said the neighbourhood had been quiet at the time.He urged anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity or vehicles to contact police at once.On January 16, a 27-year-old man and a dog were shot at nearby Khyber Heights Lane. Insp Morgan declined to speculate if the incidents were linked.“It’s good nobody was hurt, but this stuff is crazy,” said a neighbour, watching police forensics search the lane.
