PLP expected to release platform today

With a rally in the east end, home to critical marginal constituencies, planned for this evening, and a late morning press conference led by Premier Paula Cox, the Progressive Labour Party is expected to release its election manifesto today.Premier Paula Cox will be addressing the media this morning at Alaska Hall and party operatives have not revealed the topic of the press conference.But the PLP is hoping for a large turnout at its East end rally at the St Georges’ Cricket Club tonight starting at 7 pm.The party is promising live performances, entertainment and food vendors in “an evening of excitement and celebration” to be attended by all of their general election candidates for districts 1 through 12.
