A 17-year-old Warwick Academy student was banned from the roads after he was caught drink driving.Sam Roberts was seen by police driving in an erratic manner on Bermudiana Road on November 10. Police followed him onto Woodbourne Avenue where he was stopped and asked if he had been drinking.Roberts, who was unsteady on his feet, admitted he’d had “two or three drinks” and was subsequently arrested.A breathalyser test at Hamilton Police Station showed 95 milligrams in 100 millimetres of his blood. The legal limit is 80.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner fined Roberts $800 and banned him from driving all vehicles for one year.
