November 17, 2012Dear SirI presume that the Progressive Labour Party leadership’s highly intellectual tactic of attacking the One Bermuda Alliance — who have never formed the Government — is based on the theory that the PLP are running on their own incredible economic success story? I mean clearly the PLP have all the answers but they are holding back until maybe the debt gets to $2 billion ... that sounds about right for a village of 60,000 souls. They just want to see if the OBA have the same thoughts? If I were the OBA and I had no idea what to expect when they open the cupboard on December 18 ... not only would I hold my cards close, I’m not sure I’d even attempt to state a solution to a problem, the extent of which no one knows (probably including the PLP). The OBA and many of us expect that, unless the PLP get those shredders working really soon, we are going to find an enormous mess and an empty vault.POLLYSouthampton
