November 14, 2012Dear Sir,I learned a new word this morning, omnishambles, which I understand is to mismanage a situation in a rather complete and comprehensive manner. Apparently, omnishambles is the word of the year and it describes perfectly how the Progressive Labour Party has managed the affairs of our little Island home over the past 14 years. During the next few weeks, the PLP and its supporters will offer up plenty of baloney sandwiches for the electorate to feed on in an effort to have the electorate believe otherwise but the fact of the matter is this — the PLP has mismanaged Bermuda and now should be held to account for it. As a very disillusioned Bermudian, if the electorate vote the PLP back in, I have to believe it would be for only one reason. Simply put, the record of the PLP over the past 14 years is abysmal. Under the stewardship of the PLP, our little country has been transformed in a manner that only the word omnishambles can adequately describe.EHTHamilton Parish
