November 4, 2012Dear Sir,I’m a voter, and I’m confused. Not for myself ... but for people in the constituencies where there are move than two candidates. Knowledge about candidates spills over into nearby areas, and I’m not in the area where Charlie Swan is the MP (he represented the United Bermuda Party in a 2008 by election in Southampton West Central). I can’t say what either of the other two candidates have done, and don’t know where they live. I know the One Bermuda Alliance candidate changed parties a number of times, then moved or was moved from another constituency but don’t know, or understand, why. If the three were lined up in front of me, I’d pick the one I know, the one who I see, the one who has contributed to their community. A lot of people I talk to wish they had that type of candidate in their area.O LEANDERSandys
