A 48-year-old Pembroke man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving on Tuesday morning.A police spokesman said that at around 3.30am, officers conducting traffic checks at the junction of Middle Road and Tamarind Vale in Warwick noticed a motorcyclist travelling through the area.“The rider appeared to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving,” the spokesman said.The rider later failed an alco-analyser test.A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
