Miss Bermuda, Rochelle Simons placed in the Miss World quarter finals after a catwalk competition for Top Model and 1436, a luxury Chinese cashmere brand.The girls chosen from this competition will walk for the Top Model final show on August 12, and will wear clothes by 1436.Creative director of 1436, Graeme Black, instructed the Miss World contestants to “tell me a catwalk story with your walk”. Mr Black told the girls that he was looking for “someone to suit my brand, that can interpret the clothes in their own way.”After finishing her walk, Ms Simons was voted a quarter finalist by a panel of judges including Mr Black, and will star in the Top Model final show next month, along with 46 other quarter finalists. Ms Simons and the 46 other girls were chosen to walk in the Top Model show, out of the 120 contestants competing for the Miss World title.The Miss World website would like to wish “A big congratulations to all the contestants, and stay tuned for news of which girls will be walking in the show.”
