Disappointment for young teams at Disney Cup

Day two of the Disney Cup wasn’t as fruitful for the Bermuda Brazilian Football School (BBFS) sides as the opening day as they lost three of their four matches in Orlando, Florida. The four teams combined to record three wins in their four games on the first day but followed their encouraging start with less than inspiring results.Only the Under-12 boys remain undefeated with D’Andre Wainwright taking his tally to eight goals in two games. He grabbed four goals in their 5-0 win over Hillel Academy Prepatory School, Jamaica.Tyler Sousa added the fifth goal for the local side. The Under-nine boys lost 9-3 to FS Barcelona with goals coming from Ricky Tucker Jr, Daniel Cook and Benjamin Jones. The Under-12 girls lost 3-0 to Fraigcomar Puerto Rico while the Under-14 boys lost 5-0 to Lakeland FC 97/98 Black Florida. Two of the teams will look to bounce back today with the Under-nine boys locking horns with Sports Concepts, Mexico and the Under-14 girls playing West Jersey Bobcats. The Under-12 girls and boys have a bye.
