Bermuda teens in Glee show
Many of you have seen the passionate singing and dancing that takes place on the popular television show ‘Glee’ — now it’s time to see how our local talent measures up.Sixty-two Bermuda students, aged 14 to 18, are currently participating in Bermuda Glee, an intense, ten-day performing arts programme.On offer at the Berkeley Institute on Sunday are original pieces of musical theatre shows are at 2pm and 6pm.Students have been assisted with their preparations by local teachers, Don Finlayson of Canada’s renowned Shaw Festival and music producer John Woolridge.Bermuda Glee was started by The Argo Foundation as a way to invest in the Island’s young people. The programme is designed to encourage collaboration and partnership and break down some of the barriers that separate the community.Useful website: www.argolimited.comTickets to the event are $15, available on www.ptix.bm.
