Armed police this morning arrested a man after an operation at a home in Spanish Point.A Police spokesman said: "As a result of specific information received, officers from the Public Protection Department including armed police officers and the Canine Unit executed a search warrant under the Firearms Act & Misuse of Drugs Act at a Sugar Apple Lane, Pembroke residence around 10am on Tuesday, July 3."During the operation a male was arrested and inquiries are ongoing."
