Front Street will be closed between Parliament and King Streets from 7am on Saturday to 8pm on Sunday for road resurfacing, the City of Hamilton announced this afternoon.Traffic travelling into Hamilton along East Broadway will be diverted up Spurling’s Hill to Reid Street and into the City.A City spokeswoman said: “On both days, motorists and pedestrians will have access to the Number 8 Car Park, the supermarket, restaurants and other shops in the immediate vicinity. There will be signage in place providing additional directions.”Additionally, on Sunday, July 1, between 6am and 9am the traffic lights at the junction of Church Street and Bermudiana Road will not be operational while work is carried out in the area. “Motorists are asked to use extreme caution at the junction,” the spokeswoman added.
