Digicel gives $5,000 to children’s charity
Digicel launched a new marketing campaign yesterday with a promise to “be extraordinary” plus a $5,000 donation to the Coalition for Protection of Children’s “Breakfast for Every Child” programme.The “be extraordinary” branding is already appearing in Digicel ads and signage around the Island.“After six successful years delivering the best value, best service and best network to its customers across Bermuda, Digicel is proud to once again to be exciting Bermudians with its all new brand promise, ‘Be Extraordinary’,” Digicel said.At the centre of the campaign, is a “Be Extraordinary” TV commercial that went live yesterday.In addition, to mark the launch, Digicel is providing breakfast for the students of Victor Scott Primary as part of the Coalition for Protection of Children’s breakfast programme.“All senior members of staff and a representative of each department will be serving breakfast as well as explaining to the children all the ways in which they can be extraordinary,” Digicel said.Digicel Bermuda CEO Wayne Caines added: “Be Extraordinary” is about celebrating everyday people doing extraordinary things and highlights our customers’ achievements in their day to day lives — and our own as a business.“It is as much a statement as it is a promise and a challenge to people to be the best they can be.
