A man was injured falling off his motorcycle in Sandys.Police and first responders were called to Somerset Road, near the junction with Scaur Lane, around 10.50pm on Thursday.“It appears that the motorcycle was travelling along Somerset Road when it lost control and fell to the ground,” said a police spokesman.“The rider, a 37-year-old Sandys man, was injured and conveyed to [King Edward VII Memorial Hospital] via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.”A hospital spokesman said the victim was in stable condition on a general ward yesterday.
