Four people arrested at Spanish Point residence

Police officers arrested four people at a private home in Pembroke in relation to the Misuse of Drugs Act.Two men and two women were arrested at a Spanish Point residence on Friday.According to a police spokesman, the officers were acting on a tip.No further details were released.Meanwhile police and first responders attended two late-night accidents.Emergency vehicles attended a collision involving a taxi and a motorcycle on Middle Road in Paget around 3am on Saturday near the junction with Cobbs Hill Road.The 33-year-old male motorcycle rider from Southampton was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and later released.No other injuries were reported; a spokesman confirmed both vehicles were damaged.Witnesses are urged to contact PC Christopher Brady on 295-0011.Emergency responders also attended a reported collision on Middle Road in Sandys parish near the junction with Woodlawn Road involving a SUV and a motorcycle.Both vehicles were travelling along Middle Road when they collided.The rider, a 41-year-old Sandys man, was rushed to hospital by ambulance.A police spokesman said: “At last check, the victim was in stable condition on a general ward. No other injuries were reported; however both vehicles were damaged.”Anyone who may have witnessed this accident is urged to contact PC Gavin Richardson on 295-0011.
