Crime wave at my house
May 14, 2012Dear Sir,The Progressive Labour Party and the Police Service would have us believe that crime is falling, but tell that to my wife and child after we have just suffered our third break-in in less than two months. I know that drug addicts can no longer get the construction work and hustles to pay for their fixes because there are fewer people with money to employ them due entirely to the PLP’s policies that have driven away the job creators and the high earners who could afford to employ locals. The worldwide recession has nothing to do with this and the improving performance of our international businesses, while the PLP Government sinks us deeper into debt, proves it. This is a very serious Bermuda generated problem and it will get no better while the PLP have their heads in the sand. My family has been in Bermuda for over 200 years, but enough is enough. We are very very close to deciding that we must leave because the Bermuda we loved has likely gone forever. Many feared that the PLP would destroy Bermuda, looks like they are finally well on the way to achieving our worst fears.BEATEN UPPembroke
