Majority of women are annoyed by their Facebook friends
There’s apparently a fine line between friend and ‘frenemy’ when it comes to Facebook.85 percent of women say they have been annoyed by their friends on Facebook, according to a new survey. The survey of 400 women was done by Eversave, a company that offers daily deals. Eversave found that 87 percent of women said they found out about deals by ‘liking’ daily deal companies on Facebook and 45 percent said they learned about savings through their friends’ posts. The results also uncovered some interesting things about Facebook friendships. The survey reveals that while 79 percent of women use Facebook to keep their friends informed about what they are up to, and 64 percent of them share interesting links and/or funny videos, they have little tolerance for friends who use the site to brag or overshare.Bothersome behaviors that topped the list:-Complaining all the time (63 percent)-Sharing unsolicited political views (42 percent)-Bragging about seemingly perfect lives (32 percent)You would think if women were so irritated, they would stop using Facebook altogether, but the survey finds despite the occasional annoyances, 91 percent of women appreciate Facebook for allowing them to see photos and videos and 76 like that the site helps them search and reconnect with long lost friends. If you feel uncomfortable unfriending those annoying friends, just remember there are alternatives. You can always hide their updates or limit what content of yours they can see on the site.
