Butterfield Bank jumped more than 5 percent on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday.Butterfield rose 6 cents, or 5.3 percent, to $1.19 as 10,500 shares changed hands. The bank’s shares recently hit a low of 99 cents.Bermuda Press shares rose 8.1 percent, or 75 cents, to close at $10 as 6,400 of them traded.And Ascendant Group closed unchanged at $13.30 as 100 shares traded.Overall the BSX closed up 2.86 percent or 29.32, to finish at 1,056.13.
