Seven pre-schools and 231 young students took part in an attempt to break a world record.The Bermuda Youth Library took part in “Read for the Record”, in which teachers at preschools and nurseries around the world all read the same book to children to break the world record.Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Patrice Minors told the House of Assembly on Friday that the Youth Library coordinated the event and hosted a reading session at the library where Minister Michael Weeks read. Bermuda’s participation was counted for the world record.
