Police name teenage victim of electric shock

Police have named an 18-year-old man who died after suffering an electric shock as Kevin Gonsalves Ledo of Pembroke.A Police spokesman said: "Around 11.45am on Saturday, December 24, police responded to a reported industrial accident at a Smiths Avenue, Warwick residence."It appears that Mr Ledo was working as a landscaper on the property when he received an electrical shock. "He was given CPR by EMTs at the scene before being taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, where he was subsequently pronounced dead at 1.20pm Saturday by an on call physician."There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances; however an autopsy is anticipated and inquiries are ongoing. The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family and friends of Mr Ledo."
