The Department of Marine and Ports within the ministry of Transport today advised that effective January 2nd 2012 the amended fares for the Pink Route ferry service will be:Ÿ Monthly Pass = $70Ÿ Quarterly Pass = $170Ÿ Adult and Child one way fare = $3.25Ÿ Student = Free (see new definition Note 4)Ÿ Adult 1 day pass = $15Ÿ Child 1 day pass = $7.50Ÿ Adult 3 day pass = $35Ÿ Child 3 day pass = $17.50Ÿ Adult 4 day pass = $44Ÿ Child 4 day pass = $22Ÿ Adult 7 day pass = $56Ÿ Child 7 day pass = $28Note 1: The sale of the 2 day pass will no longer occur. There will be no refunds.Note 2: Tickets remain unacceptable.Note 3: There are no refunds for passes previously purchased at the higher pass rate.Note 4: This new fare is acceptable on all other ferry routes and buses.Note 5: “Student” refers to a person under the age of 19 years able to prove that they areattending any school on a full-time basis as a pupil or student.Note 6: “Student Pass” means a pass issued by the Department, free of charge, for a fixed periodin respect of any journey, to: (a) student of Bermuda; or(b) a Bermudian, who is under the age of 19 years and who is a student overseas.Note 7: “Child” means a person who has attained the age of five years, but has not attained the age of sixteen years. (5 years and older, but not 16 years)
