A teenager was this morning charged in Magistrates’ Court with possessing a firearm and ammunition earlier this month.Darin Simons, 18, of Crane Lane, Devonshire, was charged with possessing a Smith and Wesson pistol and five 0.38 cartridges in Devonshire on November 5.He was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard by the Supreme Court, and remained silent while the matter was heard by the court.Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded him in custody until December 5, when the matter is expected to return to Magistrates’ Court for mention.
