An underground fault led to power being cut off from 280 Paget homes and buildings this week.According to a Belco spokeswoman, the power outage occurred at around 3.04pm on Tuesday near the Fort Hamilton substation.For the next several hours, electricity went on and off as Belco staff worked to locate the source of the problem and re-route power to the affected homes.Electricity was fully restored around 11.55pm.The Belco spokeswoman apologised to those affected for their inconvenience.
