The Bermuda Police Service are asking the public to beware of fake Bermuda $100 bills after several businesses reported receiving forgeries.A police spokeswoman said: “This denomination of fake currency was tendered at a couple of businesses over the weekend.“The public should be aware that genuine currency has the following security features: watermarks, a security thread and images that can only be seen under ultraviolet light.”Anyone with information about the counterfeit currency is asked to contact the Police at 295-0011.l Useful website: www.police.bm.
