Devonshire Industries Ltd slumped 20.8 percent ($1.05) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week.The company, which owns Bermuda Paint, traded 2,000 shares to close at $4.Butterfield Bank also fell 6.3 percent (10 cents) to $1.50 with 220,256 shares changing hands. The bank traded 37 preference shares, but its share price held firm at $1,230.The Ascendant Group Ltd dropped 3.4 percent (49 cents) to $14 as 6,000 shares were transacted.Argus Group Holdings Ltd, however, rose 17.6 percent (75 cents) to $5 with 957 shares traded.BF&M Ltd also traded 2,000 shares, but its share value remained unchanged at $15, as did Kentucky Fried Chicken (Bermuda) Ltd and Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd, which saw 80 and six shares change hands respectively.The Index, as a whole, slipped 38.89 points (3.12 percent) to 1,243.69 with 231,299 shares worth BD$470,809.80 and 1,152 shares worth US$56,829.25 were transacted.The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, climbed 18 points (1.92 percent) to 920.
