Swan to complain over CITV coverage of Government
UBP leader Kim Swan today said he was going to write to the Broadcast Commission in a bid to “bring about greater fairness” over CITV coverage of the PLP.Mr Swan, who says he will raise the issue in the House of Assembly today, said: “I am a supporter of CITV and enjoyed many programmes which have been informative and educational.“However, we in the United Bermuda Party demand equal time as the PLP Government use CITV to rebroadcast political town hall meetings.“As I watch the town hall meeting at Warwick Workmens Club on CITV it is clear that the Government has an advantage over our opposition party and are able to use our taxpayer dollars to advance its political message.“We will write to the broadcast commission and bring this matter to their attention to attempt to bring about greater fairness.”
